This is an image of a roof in Nanzenji Temple Garden in the rain. The black and white allows the rain drops to be seen clearly as they fall and splash on the roof. 
When I visited Nanzenji Temple, Kyoto, Japan the rain did not take away from the beauty of the gardens, it made it more special.
